Otvori /boot/grub/menu.lst, nadji red "default" i tu ukucaj br, u zavisnosti od mesta OS-a u grubu.

Npr, ako je ovako:
Linux
Linux fallback
Win

bice ti default 0 za linux, a default 2 za win.

ili /etc/lilo.conf pa izmeni redosled poslednje 2 sekcije. Ovako stoji kod mene i Linux je prvi.

Kod:

E vazno, ako je LILO u pitanju, pokreni lilo posle izmene konfiguracije, da bi upisao izmene.
Kod GRUB-a to nije potrebno.

Otvoris fajl /boot/grub/menu.lst u nekom editoru. Na primer, pritisnes Alt+F2 i ukucas

I tu uzmeš deo teksta koji ide ovako:

I premestiš ga ispred

Tako ćeš dobiti redosled. A ako samo želiš da ti se Windows podrazumevano podiže, onda je Владимирovo uputstvo skroz ok.

Deo između "## ## End Default Options ##" i "### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST" bi na kraju trebalo ovako da izgleda:
